It is not obvious for one to start an in-depth chat with a random person. However, think of this, keeping a conversation going with a romantic partner especially in the beginning of a relationship, may come with additional apprehensions. One may have the following questions within themselves;

  • What if what I am asking sounds weird to them?
  • What if I am asking something too personal on our first meeting?
  • How do I know that what I am about to ask resonates well with my partner?

Whether it is a fresh relationship or one in which you have had difficult moments, the mission remains un altered.

Therefore, it is helpful to have clear ideas about the forthcoming dates. Even for those who have been in relationships for more than a decade, it remains healthy to have interesting discussions in order to achieve a fun conversation.

Relationship experts remind us that, it is entirely normal to initiate thought-provoking discussions with someone you are attracted to.

Think of having discussions around finances, likes and dislikes, what you have in common or unique from each other, goals that are individualistic and those for the relationship, what you do for fun and how this can lead to a better relationship, how each person react to problematic situations among other topics.

This is important because such discussions will lead to a faster growth and deeper insights in a relationship.

It is doable, try not to give up.

           Get inspired for life.

    Deep conversations are important if/where relationships are expected to work. Just like we do when building houses, we want to discuss up to the most minute details….so should we when we are building a relationship. Discussions on finances(saving, spending, who contributes what) fears, strengths, religion, in-laws, preferences, hobbies and interests and general expectations can go a long way in helping someone to make an informed decision on the direction they want a relationship to take.
